The e-KRT is designed primarily for responsible adult operation in sand-dominant environments such as beaches and soft coastal terrain. Performance on mixed terrain depends on surface conditions, load weight, and environmental factors.

The e-KRT is not intended for:

  • High-speed recreational use
  • Extreme off-road terrain
  • Structural modification
  • Submersion in water

Only use the supplied charging equipment. Do not modify or substitute the battery system.

Battery Care & Charging

  • Charge only with the supplied charger
  • Store in a cool, dry place

Lithium-Ion Battery Safety

Follow these important battery safety guidelines to help ensure safe charging, handling, and long-term battery performance.

Use Only the Supplied Charger

Charge the battery only with the charger provided by e-KRT.

Charge Between 32°F–113°F (0°C–45°C)

Charging outside this temperature range may reduce battery performance or damage the battery.

Charge on a Non-Flammable Surface

Always place the battery on a stable, non-flammable surface while charging.

Unplug When Charging Is Complete

Disconnect the charger once the battery has reached a full charge.

Do Not Charge a Damaged Battery

Never charge a battery that is swollen, leaking, cracked, or otherwise damaged.

Recycle Responsibly

Recycle lithium-ion batteries through an approved battery recycling program. Never dispose of them in household trash.

Emergency Information

If the battery produces smoke or catches fire:

  • Move away from the battery immediately.
  • Call 911 or your local emergency services.
  • Do not use water to extinguish a lithium-ion battery fire.

Environmental Considerations

Store the e-KRT in a dry location when not in use. Avoid prolonged exposure to standing water, excessive heat, freezing temperatures, or corrosive environments. Proper storage helps maintain long-term performance and warranty coverage.

e-KRT is water-resistant but not waterproof or submersible. Avoid prolonged exposure to standing water or heavy rain.

12-Month Limited Warranty

The 12-Month Limited Warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use, subject to the terms and conditions of the warranty.

The warranty does not cover:

  • Misuse or abuse
  • Unauthorized modifications
  • Improper storage
  • Damage caused by environmental neglect

Warranty claims require proof of purchase.

Returns

Returns are accepted within 14 days of carrier-confirmed delivery.

Conditions:

  • Unit must be unused
  • Must be returned in original packaging
  • All returned units are inspected before a refund is approved.
