Meet The Founder
The idea for e-KRT came to me on a brutally hot 105-degree beach day, years before I had kids. I'd packed everything into a cheap pool cart, but by the end of the day I was exhausted—hauling bags and chairs that wouldn't fit, dragging a cart that barely moved through soft sand, and making multiple trips just to get everything back to the car. Instead of relaxing, I was completely worn out.
I'm an engineer with more than 16 years of experience designing products for manufacturing, and solving problems is simply how my mind works. Standing on that beach, I knew there had to be a better way—not just for me, but for every family struggling with the same experience.
That's how e-KRT was born.
Today, e-KRT is the foldable electric beach cart I wish I'd had that day. It carries your gear across soft sand, folds to fit into your SUV, and helps make beach days easier from start to finish.
Now, as the father of a 3-year-old and a 1-year-old, I know exactly who I built it for: families who simply want to spend more time enjoying the beach and less time carrying everything to it.

Why We Built e-KRT
